CHÂTEAU MOULINET 2010
Located on the pilgrims' route of Santiago de Compostela, the place was in the twelfth century a stage of the Knights of St. John of Jerusalem. Among other medieval remains, a stone marked with the Maltese Cross, visible in the park of the Castle, testifies to this rich historical past. The estate belonged to several large Libourne families before being bought by Monsieur de Seguin's heirs by Armand Moueix in 1971.
For the last 3 years, the property has experienced an unprecedented revival, both in the vineyard and in the cellars. passing through the vat room. Here the latest innovations are combined with the most traditional methods, such as manual harvesting. Nathalie Moueix has today made Château Moulinet one of the references of the great wines of Pomerol.
